The senior management at The Moritz Embroidery Works, Inc is made up of three generations of family members that have been involved in the Scouting & OA Programs for many generations. The founder of our embroidery company was awarded the Silver Beaver Medal by the Valley Forge Council for his lifetime commitment to the OA & ScoutingTM program.

We all recognize and respect the value and copyrights of the BSA(® and your Council OA Lodge Flap & CSP Emblem Designs. We also realize that the copyrights and value of these emblems must be protected from counterfeiters and unscrupulous collectors as these emblems are the major fundraisers for your council and OA programs.

To this end The Moritz Embroidery Works, Inc. has always adhered to the following policy to assist our valued OA and Scouting Customers in protecting their designs:

1. No official OA Lodge Flaps or CSP's are ever sent out of our factory to other councils as examples or samples of our embroidery quality or workmanship without permission from your Council or OA Lodge Chief and the BSA®.

2. All official OA Lodge Flaps & CSP "Over Runs & Damages" are recorded and destroyed by our company after your order has shipped.

3. Official BSA® Licensed Seal and Moritz logo on our custom printed PVC Backing is your assurance that these emblems were made only to the most exacting standards of The Moritz Embroidery Works and approved by The Boy Scouts of America®. These Moritz BSA®, Licensed printed PVC Backs are actually part of our final PVC heat seal process making them highly resistant to tampering or copying.

4. No Official OA Pocket Flap or CSP emblems are ever sold, given away, or traded to collectors, traders or retailers by The Moritz Embroidery Works, Inc.

All OA Pocket Flap Patches are sized according to the National BSA® specifications. The size does not exceed 5.0" wide and in proportion high but should not exceed the pocket flap . All Moritz OA Pocket Flaps are beautifully embroidered in"heavely stitched raised embroidery" in 10 thread colors at no extra charge and comes with BSA® PVC officially licensed Backing to add extra life for the collectors. We also specialize in all types of special effect Threads, LED Lights & Metal Inserts to make your "Life Time" or OA event Pocket Flap a special one!!
